Happened so fast....Not your bee's wack though
Getting into a fight with a friend is pretty commonplace in today's society. In fact, I would go so far as to say that if you have never been in a verbal fight or even a physical fight with your best friend, then they aren't really your best friend. The true nature of a best friend is to always be there for you and to spend a lot of time with you on a weekly basis. Usually you talk periodically with your best friends and hang out often with them.However, for some people who get into fights with their friends, they don't know how to resolve the situation or conflict and they remain angry at them. Arguments start off with something silly and have the potential to escalate. Sometimes you might be in a fight with a friend and then if you really reflected on your argument, you may realize that you don't even remember what you were arguing about in the first place. Good friends are hard to find as the expression goes and it is ridiculous to hold a grudge against a friend over a silly argument. Whatever the dispute may be about, it can easily be resolved rather quickly when level heads prevail. If you have a serious fight with a friend, ask a common friend whom you are both friends with to help you resolve the dispute. That friend doesn't necessarily have to take sides in the argument but he or she can help you explain your differences and compromise in the argument. The most important thing for resolving a conflict is to take a deep breath and reflect. Depending on what happened, you may apologize to each other or it could be understood that you are both sorry for what happened through unspoken communication. I have found people to hold grudges for long periods of time, even years and because of that they don't talk to the person for several years and cut off all forms of communication. This is childish and stupid to get to really know a person and become friends with them only to have a small argument escalate to cut off your friendship. Do yourself a favor and before the argument gets too intense, stop yourself and reflect on what you arguing about. You will see how stupid it really is. Remember, the last thing you want to do is lose a best friend.
